The
Willary Water Resource Center at Keystone College is dedicated to
providing public education in water-related issues and fostering public
involvement in watershed activities. Keystone College and the
Lackawanna County Conservation District jointly operate the Center,
creating a unique partnership between local government and a private
institution.
The Willary Water Resource Center serves as a resource for
Northeastern Pennsylvania, particularly the Tunkhannock Creek Watershed.
It serves as a depository for Tunkhannock Creek Watershed information
and is a clearinghouse for local, national, and global water resource
information. The Center also helps coordinate watershed activities
within the region.
